Text Box: Escuela Bigfoot was founded in 2005 in the idyllic seaside fishing village of Playa Gigante on the SW Pacific coast of Nicaragua. We provide one on one and small class (2-3 students) instruction for Spanish language students of all levels. Our standard offering is one week of Spanish instruction with packages starting at $100. We also offer “a ala carte” hourly one-on-one Spanish language instruction. You can also opt for Spanish+Surfing or Spanish+Fishing packages through our partnership with Costa Nica Expeditions. The Tola coast region provides numerous ecotourism and recreational opportunities for students after class and on weekends. The school is located a mere 5-minute walk from the Zacatan Ecological Reserve, a 30 acre protected area with trails, monkeys (both howler and white-faced capuchin), parrots, and other magnificent denizens of the Pacific Tropical Dry Forest. In addition to Playa Gigante, several other uncrowded beaches are just a short walk or bike ride away: Amarillo, Colorado, and Manzanillo.
